Got a flat last night on the Parks highway. Called AAA and they said
"we'll call you back" so not wanting to waste any daylight, I started
on it myself. I stopped every time a car came by (there weren't many)
and got it done all by myself. Didn't even take long. So today in
addition to my regular shopping in Anchorage, I gotta get a new tire.

Boy oh boy, you sure do know how to problem solve in an emergency. When I was out west and had a flat in the middle of an Indian reservation, AAA was no help to me either.
