my tree!
After decorating Mom and Dad's tree yesterday, I decorated MINE tonight! It's
awesome! Tinsel and pink lights... and all my ornaments fit just
right! All I have to set up is my snow globe... which is going to be
awesome!

Pond
Walked out on this frozen (very frozen) pond. People were
speedskating around and playing hockey. Just outside of downtown
too-- very cool.

Woke up to a gorgeous dusting of snow! This was around 7 am, so it's
normal that it's dark. ;-)
The flight to anchorage was beautiful, more pictures later. Gotta get
out and take them while it's still light!

10 am in Fairbanks.
Most of my pictures are blurry from today cause it doesn't get too
bright up here...
proof
the guy I'm interviewing with said no one would believe I was in
Alaska if I didn't have a picture of the pipeline.
Fact: those things sticking out of the top are radiators to keep the
ground frozen around the supports. Also, the pipe expands and
contracts-- there are teflon sliders under it so it can move freely.
All things I learned today ;-)

homemade
Binder clips for film clips, hair pretties and a pen to hang the film
from and a twist-tie to keep the film from slipping out of the clip.
On the other end I hung a wrench from another binder clip (also locked
on with a twist-tie). Use whatcha got, right!? ;-)
