Katie and Adam got married yesterday!!! The wedding was awesome!
Everything went smoothly, everyone looked wonderful and everyone had a
great time!!! I'll post more pictures when I get home... which is

this has been a crazy, whirlwind trip to Michigan! Tuesday morning
Mom and I met up with a few of my cousins and we headed north! I
wanted to see Lake Superior! Tuesday we swam in 3 great lakes!!!
What a feat! Wednesday morning we made a stop at Au Train Bay and
snapped this shot of the adventurers!

The ladder truck showed up to the Fireweed. They rode the ladder up,
walked around, and then rode it back down. Not sure if they were
responding to something or some kind of inspection or what. All I know
is I think there are faster ways onto that roof.

Today was the 32nd day in a row of rain. The previous record was 27
or 28 days so we've broken the record pretty handily. There's no
indication the streak will end any time soon. So so so glad I burn my
calories inside!

this one almost didn't even make it to me-had the receptionist all
confused! I didn't bother spelling out my first name but I did spell my
last name for the guy at Dell (and he did speak English!)

I took the really long way home from church. Rode south and took the
coastal trail back north (too much of a wimp to go UP the kincaid
hill).

This morning I could tell it was sunny from my bed-- not a cloud in
sight! But when I got to the Park Strip you could see this fog coming
off the inlet. All the rain has made everything so green!

My blueberry bush has one berry on it. I can't even count all the
pounds of blueberries I've eaten this summer but I've nurtured this
plant (and its one berry) all summer long. Funny how that works.

I probably looked ridiculous... but this is what I wore mowing the
lawn today. I'm allergic to the grass and it hasn't been really
terrible allergies but it makes me sneezy and sniffly for a day or 2
after mowing, which has gotten to be a drag. I'm writing this 6 hours
later and I haven't sneezed once! It works! (does it look like I
have a mustache?)

My cilantro has flowered and is now producing flowers and seeds
instead of new leaves to eat. I was snapping off the flowers but now
I'm just letting them go-- the plants are as tall as my deck railing
and they have these cute white flowers.

My cherry tomato plant is OUT OF CONTROL!

Someone suggested that the wet weather is preventing the flowers from
being pollinated... interesting thought as I have a ton of flowers,
it's growing and spreading like mad but very few tomatoes...
