haha. Actually when I was there I was under the impression that it was just big timbers... but the pictures make it look different. (it was kinda dark in there)
Either way, they're about 4 inches thick but there's 2 of them bolted together. And they're not shiny and polished-- they're actually pretty rough. It's only in the pictures that you can see the different tones of wood.
