I drove past a precast plant when I was looking for that screw I lost
(funny thing, I only stopped once so I was able to find it). Look at

Dam!
I saw a dam on my bike ride! Incidentally, this is where I realized I
was missing a screw on my cleats... It was an interesting ride.

GM Truck and Bus!
I toured the GM Truck and Bus plant today! It was so cool! However,
they don't allow cameras in there so this is all I got. I like the
entrance, I think it harkens back to a different time...
hmmm
I hope this shows up on everyone elses' computers... I saw this on
the way to work this morning. It was just after the sun came up and
there were some contrails in the east sky (this is looking west). My
first thought was that I was seeing a shadow of the clouds, as they
were between the sun and me. But it looks like it's getting smaller,
not wider... weird. Any ideas?

cool stuff
Katie and I went to a park but got distracted by scraps of pipe... We
decided this is a plastic catchbasin. Never heard of them before.
The bottom is closed and there's a pipe entering on either side. Cool
stuff, at least for us nerds!

So I bought 2 sets of salt and pepper shakers today.
But I've spent the last year and 2 months looking for "the perfect
set" and I found 2 today! So what could I do?! Plus one was a
dollar, so I don't even feel bad.
