not sure what it is. Doesn't smell like a lift station. Might be an electrical vault or something. Not a utilidor. It's in front of the elementary school behind my house (got that?). It made me laugh. They must be fixing it or something because there are no hinges, locks or latches on the lid... hence the big chunk of concrete.

also I like how they curve the sidewalks... they curved it around the hydrant too.
that's a perfect hydrant jog! :-D
B2 Engineering will have to see if those "curves" meet AASHTO standards in a couple weeks :):)
