After I worked for a while I rode back to the overpass and watched the
Statehood fireworks! There were Statehood celebrations all over the
state (Alaska became a state January 3rd, 1959) but on Jan. 3rd there
was ice fog in Fairbanks. So they postponed the fireworks till now.
Happy 50th, Alaska!

I really like the light around the trains in this picture. Not sure why but I think it is cool. :) Nice Fireworks too.
