Sugar peas:) The smaller they are, the more tender they are. The big ones are tougher. Cook them and finish them with a little butter - delicious. They're not called sugar peas for nothing. My dad used to buy a pound on Saturday morning at the Fulton St market, my sister or I would "string" them in the afternoon and we'd have them for Sunday dinner.
