The capitol! (is that the right capitol? Capital?) WOO Michigan!

Jen the gymnast!

Anyone know what kind of flowers these are? I love the colors...

Daisy in mom and dad's garden. Ahh... I love that warm evening light...

a rose in Mom and Dad's garden (I stopped for dinner, mwhahaha!)

rain on a well-waxed classic car...

a cool light in the Upjohn House in Charlton Park, where Christine and I went to a car show with her family.

this is where Matt was born! Oaklawn Hospital.

biiiig parking structure at Oaklawn hospital (it's directly across Mansion St.)

this is where I went to elementary school till second grade-- Sherman School. Sorry it's blurry, I was taking pictures while driving (there were people around and I didn't want to look crazy.)

This weekend I went to Kalamazoo. On my way down I stopped in Marshall (cause it's not every day that you go through Marshall) and checked out my old neighborhood. I lived in this house from when I was 3ish to when I was 8. It pretty much looks the same.

I really like this tree. It's located near the entrance to Heatherwood (the complex next to mine). I like it partly because there are boards nailed to the trunk for a ladder, partly because it was there before 2 sprawling apartment complexes and partly because it's just really pretty! (the clouds were neat tonight too-- I thought this looked cool in black and white)

ahh... nice quiet beach... had a good swim-- even washed my hair (nothing beats lake-washed hair drying in the sun, ahhh...)

the things I'll do for a picture...

mom's new hairdo... niiiice (we had way too much fun with the clip-on hair!)

somewhere on the Keweenaw Peninsula (roadside park on 5 mile point road). Can you spot my brothers?

89 degrees inland + 40 degree water = cold and fog at the lake (this is at Misery Bay and yeah, I went swimming)

Lake superior sunset from the water (brrr! I was calf-deep!)

The ice makes Misery bay change every winter!

HUGE peonie from Mom and Dad's house! Please ignore the chubby arm, it's the angle, I swear!

going through my pictures (need more hard drive space) and found this... it's a good one from when Jen and I were in Europe, now over a year ago. :-( Those were fun times.

more of my orange flowers! Sheesh! The insides of these are purple-- I really gotta get the name of these, they are so cool (same flower, diff. color as the white/purple flowers before)

the inside of my orange flower in black and white. Even flowers' reproductive parts can be pretty!

I didn't even know my finger was dirty till I took a picture of it. And I cropped it so no one would frame me by using my prints to do something... although, if you could do that, I might not even be mad. Just impressed. So here is what my fingerprint looks like.

finally! Wall hangings!

raindrops

the arrangement I got for my balcony... purple petunias and these orange things (same as the white and purple ones only orange)

the Flint Farmers' Market

downtown office update! I stopped here on my way home from the Flint Farmers' Market where I took pictures of flowers, and bought flowers and green beans (yum!)

I liked these... very pretty

pretty flower

dead bug! (see the bug gone in the next photo_

so I took this picture at the farmers' market. When I got back I saw there was a dead bug in it! The macro picked up a little more detail than I wanted! So I photoshopped the bug out. And I posted it just to brag about my photoshop skillz. (The bug was a yellow/clear thing on the dark spot in the middle-- quite the challenge)
