So there's an empty lot (er, a few, it's almost a whole block) across from our house... So I went for a quick hike. Discovered why there were no houses too-- it's all rocks! Anyway, caught this view along the way.

Usually afraid of chipmunks, but this one was posing! What can I do?

ok, so I have this fascination with the tops of trees... no, not really. I do have a fascination with the contrast between the blue blue sky and the changing leaves...

THERE'S NO BLACK SPOT!

My camera came back today, and you will notice that the lower left-hand corner is as blue as the rest of the sky around it, and not black. Lots more pictures on the way!

What a humid and hazy day! This was taken less than 5 minutes ago... It's supposed to storm later I hear, but there are no big clouds, just overcast right now. (76 degrees and 69% humidity-- in the UP?!?!)

my last Isle Royale souvenier! Sorry, in theory it's a little graphic, but come on, no blood, no guts, no pain even! I'm already growing a new nail. (I also need new nail polish too, eh?)

I just sent my camera in to sony to fix the black spot... Pictures may be few and far between until then. I've got the old one, though. Boyakasha!

This is what the dog looks like if you tie a towel over her ears... she can't put them up! She doesn't mind though, it's attention (plus she looks too tired to fight it).
